While the Moon is in Capricorn our energy field is affected by the vibrations of Saturn. This brings forth the principle of contraction following Jupiter's expansive influence in Sagittarius. Spiritual and intellectual interests fall away. It is a time of material ambition and an awareness of work and duty.
In our search for status and financial security, we might become insensitive, even unsympathetically cruel, but from perceived necessity rather than animosity. The Saturn influence of Capricorn lets us fall into pessimistic or negative outlooks before we realize what we're doing.
Generally, while the Moon is in Capricorn energy is sluggish. It is a time for diligently applying yourself to tasks while living solely in the present.
